At the (I thought) old age of 31 in 1999, I took my first Yoga class. I was hooked. The intense Yoga workout was exactly what my “old” body craved from countless hours of biking, hiking, running, swimming, skiing, etc. Soon after, I appreciated the gentler, relaxing side of the practice. In 2004, I completed my 200 Hour Certification with Jennifer Allen at Sundari Yoga.
I love the Ashtanga and vinyasa flow style of Yoga that keeps the blood pumping. My greatest joy as a teacher is witnessing someone new to the practice learn to relax and laugh at themselves. Yoga does not demand that each person conform to a rigid mold of a perfect pose – it is a way to learn what is perfect for each individual.
